So I have sort of been baby hungry lately. Not hungry enough that I would "purposely" get pregnant, but I have been telling Orrin all the time that I want one. Since I talk about it so much he asked me this Sunday, "Do you honestly want a baby?" I told him that I was (partially) joking and asked what he would say if I weren't joking? " He said that "We would talk about it." That through me off guard. I thought he would say "No way. Its not time yet." Which he would be totally right. As much as I would love a little lemon drop (yes I am going to refer to my kids as lemon drops from now on) it would not be good. I want to go to hair school first, Orrin needs to get his career and we need some time alone.
So instead of a baby, we are going to get a dog (not today, but one day soon)! An American bull dog hopefully. I really like those, but its not 100% yet. Orrin mentioned a Greyhound. Those tall skinny looking things. Could you imagine us walking one of those down the street? ha! (no pictures of these neat dogs because my computer is not wanting to upload them today)
Also we were thinking it would be neat to be foster parents. We heard from someone that the state gives you a fair sum of money to take care of them. That sparked some interest (some greedy interest). Although, that was a false accusation. You do not get paid to be a good person and help out poor children who need some stability in their life's. It would still be neat to get a child in elementary through high school so that we can both work. You can request the age and gender that you would like. There are classes you have to attend and so many regulations. I think it would be neat! Maybe one day when we get a place of our own.
I was just blog surfing today and I found some really neat recipes and fun craft ideas, so stay tuned.
PS: I found a neat blog today. Its called Your Heart Out. Its in my link or you can click here Its all fun things in Utah (mainly SLC). But there is everything on there. I spent about an hour. So have fun.
