I love the Gilmore Girls. I own every season and I never tire of watching them. I got the final season for Christmas and my wonderful husband was there to share in the joy of seeing the finale. Of course I bawled. I was so sad to see it end. Orrin had a great time laughing at me for crying over a show.
Well, I put that finale episode in on Sunday to entertain me while a folded 3 loads of laundry. I couldn't hold back those tears. I cried again. When it was over i went out to Orrin for comfort and he just laughed and laughed. Fair enough. I was acting like I was part of the town, like I belonged in that story somehow. That is the problem with obsessions. Thats why they are no good! Everything in moderation right?
On another note. Anyone know what a Crudite is!? Well at this fabulous job I have, sometimes we have to do catering orders for companies (aka rich people who can't prepare their own food). So the company that is flying in will send us a fax with all the items we should have ready by their arrival. "Crudites for 6." WHAT? I had to Google it and search on my trusty Wikipedia.
A Crudite is a fancy-shmancy word for "veggie." lame. why not just say
"We want a Veggie Tray. "???
learn something new every day huh? And today I learned Hummus is not a bread, its a spread for your bread! I guess I can blame that one on the people who sent the fax. It said, "Hummus & Pita Bread.." I wonder what the people in Harmons thought of me asking for Hummus bread. Stupid Rich people.
Yesterday was a fun day. Broke the sabbath to get food so we could have a hearty breakfast. Ended up radding the valentine candy sale! Went to church and the Sunbeam B class was off the wall. 2 of them fell asleep in sharing time. Then the others couldn't get enough of their snacks. Those gold fish are yummy! We had to go for a walk so they could get their wiggles out, it didn't work.
We went home to my parents for dinner. My parents are babysitting my nephews. One of which was pretty sick. He is usually as crazy as my Sunbeams but yesterday he only wanted to cuddle on the rocking chair. As much as I hate to see him sick, it was fun to be wanted. He fell asleep with his breadstick from dinner in his hand. He never ate it, just didn't want to put it down. so cute.
