down time

its the weekend. hooray. I finally get a little down time.  I took a long shower and am sitting in some very comfy clothes letting my hair air dry and take a break from the heat.  What a perfect time to update my blog.

It was an eventful time at work the past couple days. Yesterday the airport did a "mock drill." They placed two planes to the side of the runway as if they had been in a colision. They had all these actors did up in fake blood and fractures and scattered them around the planes. Everyone who would be involved in a real accident at the air port was involved. The fire fighters, ambulance, people in the terminal. I was an actor in the terminal. I had to react as if one of my family members was on that plane and "freak out." This was practice for the people who worked for SkyWest inside the terminal. I have to admit I was the 2nd best actor there. One lady actually cried and even "passed out." I was just very upset and yelling at people and demanding that they tell me what was going on and if my husband was alive. I got a few laughs and had a fun time playing around while I was on the clock! If you interested the spectrum covered this and it was on the front page of todays paper. Today my boss came up and handed me his credit card and told me to go shopping for things to decorate the bathrooms.  I asked him what my limit was as I rushed out the door.  I spent 2 hours shopping for things at Tuesday Mornings and Tai Pan.  It was a blast and the bathrooms are rockin'!  If I do say so myself.  It was great to get things that I wanted and buy them knowing that I wasn't spending my own money.  

I am going to try to finish The Host right now.  I have less than 100 pages and I can't wait to see what happens in the end.
