long weekend

Last weekend was a long one.. but so much fun.

Friday, it started out with my lasik eye surgery. I went to Davis Vision Center in South Jordan. I really liked them there. anyways here is me getting preped for the surgery.


So I dont know why, but the doctor made little dots on my eye with a pen. I wanted to see it so Orrin took a picture for me. So the surgery was.. very scary. They gave me 2 Valium but they didn't seem to work at all! I was terrified the whole time. They had to put these suction things on my eyes as part of the procedure to make the flap. That was the only part that hurt. On my left eye, which they did second, the suction kept coming loose. I think I kept moving my eye around because I was scared and knew what was coming.. anyways.. that resulted in a pretty red eye that is stil not gone. he said it is like a hickey on the eye. Sweet.
Awyays.. I was seeing perfect on Saturday.. now It's blurry. However, I hear that is normal. I've got my week check up this next week.. hope everything is going well! I spent most of Friday sleeping and just resting with my eyes closed. Orrin was so good to come up and put my eye drops in every 30 minutes.

On Saturday I promised Orrin he could go shooting with some friends. So we went up to the shooting rang and had a little fun.

Also, on Saturday, thse guys got married! Congrats to my cousin Briana and her new husband Eric.
The whole day was fabulous. SLC temple wedding, luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and the most fabulous reception I have ever attended. Check out my facebook.. I took a lot of detail shots. It was truely amazing.

I was so happy my family was up for the weekend. It was nice to spend time with them. Sunday I made dinner for my daddy for fathers day. After my RS lesson, we relaxed and watched a lot of Arrested Development.

I was so happy to see these little rascals too!

On Monday, we ditched our responsibilities and went to LAGOON! It was a much needed fun time.
Neither Sami or Orrin are good ride buddies because they get "sick." Poor babies. I had to ride the Tidal wave all by myself! I guess its a good thing because last year, Orrin threw up on it. Gross. but very funny that he couldn't stomach one of the best rides.


It was a nice weekend.. One of the weekends where we needed a few days to rest up after all the fun we had!

Since then: My dog sleep barks. It's super cute
My mom had surgery on her colon. All seemed to go well but she's in the hospital for a week
We welcomed out new nephew, Daxton, into the world
Watched some LAME movies of Orrins choice
got caught up on some much needed sleep and blogging!
